Baughman Company was originally established as a surveying company in 1930 by Clyde Baughman P.E. Today Baughman Company is a growing company with a wide range of services.

Our staff includes licensed civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors. With this blend of creative professionals, Baughman Company has extensive experience in coordinating multi-faceted projects through the various developmental stages. We manage projects beginning with the initial survey and continuing through the design and engineering phases. Throughout these stages, we coordinate all municipal reviews, inspections, government permits, public presentations, and construction staking including final inspections.

Here at Baughman, we assess the dynamic relationship between multiple land uses, regulatory considerations, geography, utility needs, vehicular and pedestrian needs, and other possible constraints. Our years of experience with land use planning allow us to foresee potential trouble spots and identify possible solutions for our clientele. Land planning and design services include site analysis, site studies, site designs, preliminary site plans, and master plans.

We have implemented a fully computerized engineering design and drafting system. Baughman is committed to maintaining current industry standards, state of the art computer hardware, software, and survey equipment. This automation has allowed us to easily transfer survey and design information between our office and field crews, while providing high levels of accuracy and successful solutions to our clients.
